Welcome to PictoJPG (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our free image converter service at https://pictojpg.com (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms

PictoJPG provides a web–based image conversion tool that allows users to upload image files (e.g., BMP, EPS, GIF, ICO, JPEG, JPG, ODD, PNG, PSD, SVG, TIFF, WEBP) and convert them into JPEG format (or other supported outputs). We host and maintain all necessary infrastructure so that users can convert images online at no charge. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time without notice.
3. Privacy Policy
Use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and store information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
4. User Obligations and Conduct
4.1. Compliance
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations.
4.2. Prohibited Activities
You may not, and you agree not to encourage or assist any third party to:
- Upload, convert, or transmit any images or content that infringes any intellectual property right (patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, or other proprietary rights) of a third party.
- Upload or distribute any content that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, harassing, incites violence, or otherwise objectionable.
- Use the Service to store or distribute malicious code (e.g., viruses, worms, Trojan horses, ransomware).
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Service or underlying software.
- Use robots, spiders, scrapers, or other automated means to access the Service for any purpose without our prior written permission.
- Circumvent any technological measures used to protect the Service or third-party content.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service.

By uploading images to our Service, you grant the Company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, process, and delete the content solely for the purpose of performing the requested conversion and maintaining the Service. We do not claim ownership of your images, and they will be deleted from our servers according to the schedule described in our Privacy Policy.

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites, products, or services that are not owned or controlled by the Company. We have no control over—and assume no responsibility for—the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. 7.2. No Guarantee of Results
While we strive for accurate, high-quality conversions, we do not guarantee that results will be error-free or meet your specific requirements. We disclaim liability for any loss or damage resulting from converted files (e.g., quality degradation, data corruption).
7.3. Security
We employ reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We disclaim any liability for unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration of your submitted files beyond what’s described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY OR ITS AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, OR SECURITY BREACHES, EVEN IF THE COMPANY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED USD $100.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to:
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any law or third-party right (including intellectual property or privacy rights).
- Your content or any content that you upload, post, or make available through the Service.
10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice—particularly if you breach these Terms.
10.2. By You
You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.
10.3. Effects of Termination
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as Sections 4, 5, 7, 8, and 9) shall remain in effect even after the termination of these Terms or your use of the Service.

These Terms (together with our Privacy Policy and any documents referred to herein) constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Service and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, or proposals—whether oral or written—concerning the Service.
